The cryptocurrency community is chatting about the token axie infinity (AXS)<\/a> again this week as the crypto asset has captured new price highs. On July 23, 2021, during the early morning trading sessions (EDT), AXS tapped an all-time high (ATH) at $32.17 per unit. The price of AXS has slid more than 3% from the ATH since, and is currently trading for $31.55 per unit at the time of writing. Over the last 24 hours, AXS has jumped a whopping 28.6% and 150.0% in two weeks.<\/p>\n

Out of the more than 10,000 crypto assets in existence, the AXS market valuation is currently ranked in the 53rd position. The AXS market cap is around $1.9 billion on Friday and there\u2019s $3.1 billion in global trades dedicated to this coin. Interestingly, statistics<\/a> from cryptocompare.com show the top trading pair with AXS is tether (USDT<\/a>) which commands 83% of AXS trades today. This is followed by the BUSD (10.34%), BTC<\/a> (4.46%), BNB<\/a> (0.68%), USD (0.58%), and ETH<\/a> (0.18%) trading pairs.<\/p>\n

Smooth Love Potion Follows Axie Infinity\u2019s Run-Up With Lighter Gains<\/h2>\n

Out of the entire crypto market capitalization of around $1.37 trillion, the axie infinity (AXS) market commands a 0.14% dominance rating. That\u2019s a far cry from the dominance rating held by bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) at 45.8% and ethereum (ETH<\/a>) at 18.1%.<\/p>\n

The other token tied to the Axie Infinity gaming universe, smooth love potion (SLP)<\/a> has also seen some gains during the last 24 hours. The percentage gains are not nearly as large as AXS\u2019s market performance but SLP is still up over 42.1% across the last two weeks. Smooth love potion is ranked 208th out of the 10,000 cryptocurrencies in existence today.<\/p>\n

SLP has an overall market cap of around $155 million on Friday and there\u2019s $229 million in 24-hour global swaps. At the time of writing, SLP is swapping for $0.287, down 27% from the coin\u2019s ATH at $0.399 over ten days ago. SLP has a much different set of pairs than AXS, as the top trading pair with SLP is the stablecoin BUSD with 66.93% of trades. This is followed by ETH<\/a> (28.85%), USDT<\/a> (3.57%), USD (0.66%), and BTC<\/a> (0.01%).<\/p>\n
