He bought dogecoin, cardano, and ether.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>U.S. Representative Barry Moore from Alabama <a href=\"https:\/\/disclosures-clerk.house.gov\/public_disc\/ptr-pdfs\/2021\/20018999.pdf\">filed<\/a> a Periodic Transaction Report (PTR) last week declaring his recent cryptocurrency purchases.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><!-- growjs zone placement 31 -->    <!-- end of growjs zone placement --> <\/p>\n<p>According to the filing, the congressman bought cryptocurrency cardano (<a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/ADA\">ADA<\/a>), dogecoin (DOGE), and ether (<a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/ETH\">ETH<\/a>) during May and June. Each purchase was worth between $1,001 and $15,000.<\/p>\n<p>His crypto investments have decreased in value since his purchases. He bought cardano on May 10, May 11, and May 13. The price of <a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/ADA\">ADA<\/a> was $1.7652, $1.5559. and $2.009 on those days respectively based on data from <a href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/ADA\">Bitcoin.com Markets<\/a>. The price of the cryptocurrency is $1.4229 at the time of writing.<\/p>\n<p>The congressman also declared that he bought dogecoin on June 13. The <a href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/DOGE\">price<\/a> was around $0.3275. At the time of writing, DOGE sits at $0.2317.<\/p>\n<p>He also bought ether on May 5. The price that day was $4,081.
