He added that the asset manager will be filing for an ether exchange-traded fund (ETF).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Skybridge Capital CEO Anthony Scaramucci revealed in the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/inside-anthony-scaramuccis-bitcoin-and-ether-etf-game-plan\/id1460134454?i=1000527280707\">episode<\/a> of The Scoop, published Tuesday, that his asset management firm has launched a private ethereum fund.<br \/>\n\u201cJuly 1st, we\u2019re launching a private ethereum fund,\u201d he said prior to the launch of the ether fund, adding:<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll then file for an ETF for ethereum. Again, it is anybody\u2019s guess when those things will be going.<\/p>\n<p>He also revealed, \u201cAs we\u2019re speaking, we\u2019re making an announcement on an ETF for a digital innovation fund that has some great publicly traded assets that we think are geared, related to [ethereum], related to bitcoin, but also the other coins.\u201d<br \/>\nThe company filed a registration statement for a <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/scaramuccis-skybridge-capital-registers-with-sec-to-launch-a-bitcoin-etf\/\">bitcoin ETF<\/a> with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in May.<\/p>\n<p><!-- growjs zone placement 31 -->   <!-- end of growjs zone placement --> <\/p>\n<p>Scaramucci emphasized:<\/p>\n<p>We have a full commitment to crypto.<\/p>\n<p>Skybridge <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/skybridge-bitcoin-fund-launches-million-anthony-scaramucci-avalanche-institutional-investors\/\">launched<\/a> a bitcoin fund in December last year with $25 million as the company expected an \u201cavalanche of institutional investors.\u201d The fund was open to the public in January with <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/skybridge-bitcoin-fund-310-million-btc-worth-535k\/\">$310 million<\/a> in assets under management. Last month, Scaramucci said that bitcoin still had <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/skybridge-capital-says-bitcoin-still-has-more-upside-than-gold\/\">more upside than gold<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What do you think about Skybridge launching an ether fund and planning to file for an ETF?
