{"id":8592,"date":"2021-06-22T13:54:07","date_gmt":"2021-06-22T13:54:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.buyucoin.com\/crypto-labs\/bit-mining-moving-3000-bitcoin-mining-machines-to-kazakhstan-following-china-crackdown\/"},"modified":"2021-06-22T13:54:07","modified_gmt":"2021-06-22T13:54:07","slug":"bit-mining-moving-3000-bitcoin-mining-machines-to-kazakhstan-following-china-crackdown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buyucoin.com\/crypto-labs\/bit-mining-moving-3000-bitcoin-mining-machines-to-kazakhstan-following-china-crackdown\/","title":{"rendered":"Bit Mining Moving 3,000 Bitcoin Mining Machines to Kazakhstan Following China Crackdown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Shenzhen-based Bit Mining has started shipping bitcoin mining machines to Kazakhstan as the Chinese government cracks down on bitcoin mining operations in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bit Mining Ltd., a mining company based in Shenzhen, announced Monday that \u201cit had successfully delivered its first batch of mining machines to Kazakhstan.\u201d<br \/>\nThe company explained that bitcoin mining machines will be delivered to Kazakhstan in three batches.<br \/>\nThe first batch consists of \u201c320 mining machines with a theoretical maximum total hash rate capacity of 18.2 PH\/s,\u201d Bit Mining claims, noting that they are \u201cexpected to be deployed and in operation by June 27.\u201d The mining company added:<\/p>\n<p>A second and third batch, totaling 2,600 mining machines with a theoretical maximum total hash rate capacity of 102.3 PH\/s, are expected to be delivered to Kazakhstan before July 1, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Bit Mining expects to ship its remaining mining machines to overseas data centers over the coming quarters.<br \/>\nThe move followed the Chinese government cracking down on bitcoin mining operations in the country. The State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company sent a notice to Bit Mining\u2019s indirectly held subsidiary, Ganzi Changhe Hydropower Consumption Service, on June 19 informing the company that its power supply would be suspended starting on June 19.<br \/>\nThe Ganzi Changhe data center subsequently suspended its operations.<br \/>\nAccording to Bit Mining\u2019s announcement, the mining operations in Sichuan account for approximately 3% of the company\u2019s total revenue in May.<\/p>\n<p><!-- growjs zone placement 31 -->   <!-- end of growjs zone placement --> <\/p>\n<p>Xianfeng Yang, CEO of Bit Mining, commented:<\/p>\n<p>We are committed to protecting the environment and lowering our carbon footprint. We have been strategically expanding our operations overseas as part of our growth strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Bit Mining <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/chinese-firm-bit-mining-invests-9m-to-build-100-megawatt-bitcoin-farm-in-kazakhstan\/\">announced<\/a> an investment in a cryptocurrency mining data center in Kazakhstan in May.
