She replied:<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s nothing that precludes us from doing that. We will be driven by our customers. Certainly, we want to make the whole buying and ownership experience as easy as possible. We will follow their lead.<\/p>\n<p><!-- growjs zone placement 31 -->    <!-- end of growjs zone placement --> <\/p>\n<p>When Tesla announced in February that it would accept bitcoin for payments, the GM CEO said that her company was not interested in doing the same. However, in an earnings call at the end of March, Barra softened her stance on <a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/BTC\">BTC<\/a> and said the company would consider accepting the cryptocurrency \u201cif there\u2019s strong consumer demand.\u201d She confirmed Wednesday that her company\u2019s position on bitcoin has not changed.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Musk said this week that Tesla will <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/elon-musk-tesla-resume-accepting-bitcoin-miners-confirm-clean-energy-usage\/\">resume accepting bitcoin<\/a> \u201cWhen there\u2019s confirmation of reasonable (~50%) clean energy usage by miners with positive future trend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Do you think General Motors will soon accept bitcoin for payments?
