Robert Kiyosaki, the best-selling author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, has warned that the U.S. is \u201csliding into depression.\u201d He said that a giant crash is coming, after which \u201ca new depression\u201d will follow. Bitcoin is among his recommendations for smart investing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Robert Kiyosaki Sees Giant Crash Coming, Followed by a New Depression<\/h2>\n

Famous author and investor Robert Kiyosaki has warned of a new depression in the U.S. following a \u201cgiant crash.\u201d Rich Dad Poor Dad is a 1997 book co-authored by Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. It has been on the New York Times Best Seller List for over six years. More than 32 million copies of the book have been sold in over 51 languages across more than 109 countries.<\/p>\n

The famous author tweeted Friday that the U.S. is \u201csliding into depression.\u201d He said President Joe Biden and the Fed are \u201cripping off people,\u201d noting that they \u201cneed inflation to prevent new depression.\u201d Kiyosaki stressed: \u201cInflation rips off the poor. Inflation makes [the] rich richer. Biden and Fed corrupt.\u201d He continued:<\/p>\n

Prepare: Giant crash then new depression. Be smart: Buy, gold, silver, bitcoin.<\/p>\n

A number of people have voiced similar concerns about inflation. Senator Rick Scott (R-Fla) said<\/a> on Fox News Sunday that Americans should be furious with the way Democrats are handling their money, adding that President Joe Biden\u2019s Build Back Better agenda will only worsen the country\u2019s \u201cridiculous\u201d inflation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you look at what they\u2019re talking about with this \u2014 name whatever the bill is \u2014 all it\u2019s going to do is cause more inflation \u2026 Look at what it\u2019s doing to poor families in this country, with gas prices up 55%. Go to the grocery store, food prices are up. It\u2019s all caused by government spending,\u201d he opined.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time Kiyosaki has warned that a major crash is coming. In September, he said<\/a>: \u201cGiant stock market crash coming October. Why? Treasury and Fed short of T-bills.\u201d He noted at the time that \u201cGold, silver, bitcoin may crash too,\u201d adding that cash is \u201cbest for picking up bargains after [the] crash.\u201d The famous author emphasized that he is not selling gold, silver or bitcoin.<\/p>\n

Kiyosaki has been recommending BTC<\/a> to investors for quite some time. Earlier this month, he said: \u201cI love bitcoin because I do not trust Fed, Treasury, or Wall Street.\u201d<\/p>\n

When the price of BTC<\/a> rose above $60K, Kiyosaki tweeted: \u201cFuture very bright<\/a>. Celebrate yet be cautious. I am waiting for a pullback before investing more.\u201d In August, he said bitcoin was the investment with \u201cthe greatest upside<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
