So it is here to stay.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Billionaire Investor \u2018Very Bullish\u2019 on Bitcoin<\/h2>\n<p>Orlando Bravo, co-founder and managing partner of private equity firm Thoma Bravo, talked about bitcoin Wednesday at CNBC\u2019s Delivering Alpha conference. His net worth as of Sept. 29 is $6.3 billion, according to Forbes. Bravo is reportedly the first Puerto Rican-born billionaire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow could you not love crypto?\u201d he said at the conference, elaborating:<\/p>\n<p>Crypto is just a great system. It\u2019s frictionless. It\u2019s decentralized. And young people want their own financial system. So it is here to stay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe underlying technology of blockchain, regardless of what protocol or what system you are building upon, can be very powerful and sometimes provides better use cases than data-based software,\u201d the billionaire investor added.<\/p>\n<p>In July, Thomas Bravo participated in a funding round for FTX Trading Ltd., owner and operator of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX.<\/p>\n<p>Bravo also revealed Wednesday that he has personally invested in bitcoin, stating:<\/p>\n<p>For me, it\u2019s pretty simple. More people are going to use in the future than today, and it\u2019s going to be more established. Institutions are just beginning to go there, and once that happens, I think it will increase significantly over the years.
