Youtube superstar and rapper KSI, also known as JJ, says he is \u201creally into crypto.\u201d Emphasizing that \u201cBitcoin is the future,\u201d he said a lot of people do not understand that crypto \u201cis a long-haul thing.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

KSI Is \u2018Really Into Crypto\u2019<\/h2>\n

Famed rapper and popular Youtuber KSI talked about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in an interview with GQ magazine published Friday.<\/p>\n

KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, is also known as JJ. He was ranked second by The Sunday Times in its list of the top 100 U.K. influencers in 2019. He is also part of the British Youtube group known as the Sidemen.<\/p>\n

Responding to a question about the first thing he would do if he were prime minister, KSI said:<\/p>\n

I\u2019d give everyone \u00a3100 worth of bitcoin \u2013 like a bitcoin stimulus package for all. I\u2019m really into crypto. I think Bitcoin is the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s definitely going to be long term, but in ten years\u2019 time, people who invested will be laughing,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

KSI proceeded to compare bitcoin to fiat money. \u201cJust look at how money is inflationary compared to bitcoin, which isn\u2019t. There\u2019s a set amount \u2013 you can\u2019t increase the amount of bitcoin and that has value,\u201d he emphasized, elaborating:<\/p>\n

I feel like a lot of people are not really seeing that. They\u2019re trying to look for quick money like, \u2018Oh, I want to get in and out.\u2019 This is a long-haul thing and I\u2019m here for the journey.<\/p>\n

Last month, he shared<\/a> the story of how he made millions of pounds investing in cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, and \u201clost it all\u201d when the crypto market \u201ccrashed.\u201d Nonetheless, he still believes that \u201ceventually you\u2019re going to get a $100,000 bitcoin, a $500,000 bitcoin, and a $1 million bitcoin. It\u2019s going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n
